We're proud to be collaborating with @barceloarquitecturametalica ó on the design and installation of the façades for the Ciudad de la Justicia in Alicante/Alacant — and the project is really taking shape! 🙌
This ambitious project features a multitude of high-performance façade systems, including extra-wide aluminium louvres that project outward from the façade, integrated into the Schüco curtain wall.
Execution is in the expert hands of @barceloarquitecturametalica , and as you can see from the images, progress is looking excellent. 👇

The Estel Building’s striking louvered façade combines contemporary design with functional innovation in the heart of Barcelona.
@royth was responsible for the structural design of the louvered façade and its anchoring system. The horizontal slats reach lengths of up to 5725 mm. At the lower end, the decorative façade gradually separates from the building, reaching a distance of 2570 mm, while at the top, it cantilevers up to 3500 mm. This complex configuration is supported by a challenging pre-existing main structure.
Tasks carried out jointly with the technical office of the façade specialist GARCIA FAURA.

Royth Engineers has collaborated with the technical office of façade specialist @inasus_1970 in designing the glass lift at Puerta del Sol, Madrid.
The lift features an internal steel structure that supports the multi-laminated structural glass ceiling. The curved façade panels transfer horizontal loads to the glass ceiling through visible stainless steel connections. The structural glass door frame is stabilized using structural silicone.
Royth was responsible for the design, structural verification during the executive phase, fabrication shop drawings, and assembly support.
Royth engineers has collaborated with the technical office of the façade specialist @inasus_1970 in the design of the impressive entrance of the office building Castellana 83-89.
🏗️ Key features:
🔹 Double-skin glass façade with large-format panels (6.6 x 3.0 m)
🔹 Laterally fixed in steel channels connected to a metal substructure.
🔹 Stainless steel rods distribute wind loads between layers.
🔹 Self-supporting revolving door, isolated from façade movements.
🔹 Two emergency glass doors on the sides.
A design that blends transparency, strength, and adaptability! 💡✨

As part of the second phase of the UM6P campus expansion, the Flex Office building blends bold aesthetics with engineering precision.
@royth engineers has collaborated with the technical office of the façade specialist @grupoaluman in the design of these striking façades and skylights.
🏗️ Key features:
* Sleek all-glass facades with Schüco SFC85 systems for a modern, seamless appearance.
* Shadow-box panels with transparent exterior glass.
* Multiple entrances and double-height façades.
* A 30m floating bridge, creating an impressive open central void.
* Terraces at multiple levels for both functionality and design.
* Glass and steel skylights
The project overcame unique challenges, including solutions for building movement and cantilevered structures, resulting in a truly standout architectural piece.

Royth engineers have carried out the structural design of the modular curtain wall substructure and anchoring, including the design of the external louvres and maintenance hanging system. The scope also included the structural design of the double-height ground floor level (9m).
