A Night of Detroit Stories at Emagine Royal Oak - We just wrapped an incredible screening of Resurgo at the Royal Oak Emagine, and it is truly a must-see for anyone who loves this city. This feature documentary has been 20 years in the making, capturing the real heart and grit of Detroit through the lens of two-time National Emmy winner Stephen McGee. The film moves past the usual headlines to tell the actual story of the people who make the 313 what it is today. Seeing these moments on the big screen confirms that the “Age of Abandonment” narrative is officially over.
