About Beatdrop Event Center- we want to be transparent with everyone: Beatdrop is not a queer owned space, but they are an allied space. During recent events they reached out in support of Drag and offered to host a drag shows if we wanted to produce there. Chad and I met with them, toured the location, and had frank conversations about recent events here in Olympia- we think that this will be a good home for a drag show and a strong potential partnership to develop more queer programming. After the first few shows we will evaluate how things are going.
