The final day started slow. Fiji night had taken its toll in the best way possible, and with the waves still small in the morning, we swapped surfboards for dive gear and spent a little more time underwater instead.
Then came the moments you try not to think about while you’re still there. Last surfs, soaking up every final second of island time, and trying not to acknowledge that it was all coming to an end. Eventually, there’s no avoiding it. Bags packed, boards loaded, and goodbye hugs with the Tavarua family who made this place feel like home.
One last ride back to the mainland, and a final look back at the chaos, the waves, the laughs, and everything that made this trip what it was.

Days like this are why you come. Time in the water, waves that keep you out longer than planned, and moments in between spent capturing it all.
Then the pace slowed. Fiji night on Tavarua brought everyone together, sharing kava, music, and moments that felt deeply rooted in place and culture. The team stepped in, letting go, being present, and by the end of it, it meant more than we could have imagined.
