i went to my first cma fest when i was 17 years old. (came across the ticket in an old guitar case the other day and had to do the math) it was my first time to nashville & the moment i knew i wanted to write country music. fast forward to last thursday. got to go down to 2nd ave and play “beautiful crazy” with my buddy. and then find out the song went diamond.
i mean come on. is this a simulation or what?

this week the music community lost a giant. ronnie bowman was one of the best humans i have ever had the privilege of crossing paths with on earth. this man lit up every room he stepped foot in. his smile would disarm even the most cynical of folks like myself. he was warm, inviting, and the kindest of kind.
to be around ronnie was to love him.
a true legend of an artist. a great writer. and a true friend.
this is a heartbreaking, massive loss for so many.
til we meet again, go rest high brother. ♥️
