A few segments from the music video I shot and animated for @equadormusic .
A fluid, improvised approach to a music video and one totally lead by the flow of the song itself. With the inclusion of @morganismvideo beautiful evolving artworks. This was such a fun project to work on. With many individual frames hand sketched, it was a time consuming yet meditative process and one I really enjoy looking back on to relive the memories of its creation.

The video for ‘Forwards’ was created by Lanzarote based visual artist Rowan While.
Rowan and I connected a few years ago during one of my regular winter trips to the island. I saw Rowan comment on a Mesh socials post mentioning that he was in Lanzarote and so started chatting and met for some beach side beers to discuss various projects. On my last trip there early this year I sent Rowan ‘Forwards’ to listen to which he loved m, so we took this opportunity to work together.
As usual, I didn’t give any creative direction as to where I wanted him to take it and let the music fuel his imagination to see what he came up with. The result is this stunning, immersive, evolving Fractal based visual journey.
