*Appreciation Post*
So I’m finally back home after a month in Luxembourg.. not sure where to even begin. What a ride. I know that I have been unbelievably lucky in so many ways…
Firstly I just want to thank
@annekewalch @mundoliebre &
@diane_jodes for all your help and advice during the residency and for also giving me this opportunity to create prints and be free from the world and able to focus whole heartedly on my craft. Thank you so so much. Big love to all at Empreinte! 💜
I also want to thank you
@philippelamesch for allowing me to stay at yours for the first two weeks while I got settled and explored Luxembourg in search of inspiration and for also putting my name forward for the residency in the first place - without you I’d never have been able to come!
I also want to show gratitude to the higher echelons for allowing me and my godmother Kath to connect not once but twice during my stay in Lux and for the opportunity to enter the Chateaux d’ansembourg to receive some healing!
I want to thank Philly for introducing me to
@sarah_mandres_art who then introduced me to
@chiaradahlem - the both of you are awesome artists, incredibly gifted and generally wonderful people. I’m excited to see what happens in the future 💜
I also want to thank
@screenstretch &
@squeegee_and_ink for helping to get me 4 amazing silkscreens and squeegee over to Luxembourg - even if it did cost me an arm, leg, kidney and left testicle! It was so worth it - thank you Chessie for dealing with all my phone calls and stressed out texts! 💜
A massive massive heart felt thanks to both Adele and Rudi (they don’t use Instagram) for allowing me to stay at your beautiful home for the second two weeks while I completed the residency and for making me feel like party of your family. Looking forward to seeing you again soon! 💜
And also a big thank you to
@claudia_kollwelter for writing up a little piece (in luxembiurgish) in the RTL news - thanks to Chiara for the link up.
And also to you
@brianamaro for all the late night drinking sessions and try hard climbing sessions 💜 see you soon G.
Anyway… new prints, new aesthetic, new colours coming soon… 🫣
Stay blessed,
Ro x
