MEET THE ARTISTS PART 1/3! THANKS SO MUCH TO ALL THE ARTISTS THAT SHARED AT OUR LAST ANINMINSPO! Here is our first group of artists in order of appearance. Check out who shared this week and make sure to support them by following their work! Aldo McKinney @aa1ldo Aldo is an artist in their first year of the UWE animation degree, they showcased a short scribble film with us. This is Aldo’s first film using ToonBoom Harmony! Rowan Halton @rowanimations Rowan showed an early screening of his submission to Cardiff Animation Nights 10th birthday animation challenge! Ahead of the event next week. It’s a 5 second long animation with the theme « Birthday »! Rowan is a Cardiff based 3d Generalist with skills in Animation, Modelling, Rigging and Texturing. Rowan’s favourite Animal is either a Racoon or a Crocodile, and their software of choice is Blender! Erin Leung @erin_leung.yc Erin is a 2D and CG animator studying at UWE. Erin is currently working on her final year CG film and shared the animatic she’s working on! If anyone is interested to help out with modelling, rigging or animating, please feel free to send Erin a dm on Instagram! Ben Burgess Rollo @ben.burgessranimation Ben shared two short films with us; ‘Pot Man’ a CG film not for the easily spooked and ‘Coagulate’ a group BFI residential film that Ben was a part of! A huge thank you to @smallbar_bristol for having ANIMINSPO at their venue it’s always a pleasure! Thank you to @animator_aidan for creating this weeks poster design for the event!
