Rowan RTF students and staff were present at the second annual NJ Film Expo last Thursday. We ran a Rowan RTF booth as well as spoke to many different vendors from different film areas of expertise. Come along on our trip for the upcoming weeks of posts! Here’s our first teaser!

🎞️Critical studies faculty in the Department of Radio, Television and Film recently attended and presented new research at the annual Society for Cinema and Media Studies (SCMS) conference in Chicago.
Assistant Professor, Dr. Jennifer Blaylock presented a research paper titled: “Coronation Day: Netflix’s Queen Charlotte and the Crowning of the African Elite.”
Lecturer, Dr. Amanda Landa presented a research paper titled: “Eden of the East: Articulating Discourses of Youth and Disaster in Millennial Japan.”
Associate Professor, Dr. Paul Monticone is the co-leader of the Classical Hollywood Special Interest Group and convened a meeting of the group at the conference.
