Nice article on the ABC about my Mother’s work and exhibition. On at the Wollongong Art Gallery till 1st September .au/news/2024-07-17/lost-tapestries-of-artist-diana-wood-conroy/104079426 #tapestry #textileart #wollongongartgallery
Through some miracle our place was saved by the RFS angels who worked tirelessly through the night to save as much of the village as possible. Terribly three of our immediate neighbours have lost everything. I also know of at least three other properties lost. These images are from my friend Peter Henderson who came to check on our place. Thank you for all your kind messages from the previous post.

This house was on the corner of Forest rd Wingello. About 100 metres from our place. When we left yesterday morning everything was clear and beautiful. Hard to imagine the town mostly gone. Like many people in the village we have no idea if we will have a house to go back too. Hoping our little community can bear this. #wingello #nswbushfires
