I don’t talk about about this guy enough! Paul aka Dad, is the man behind everything hand crafted and most importantly our weaving looms! He definitely deserves a feature, don’t you think?!

Spent a sunny afternoon weaving with Mochi. I was inspired by my neighbours beautiful pinky red tulips, which I now want to plant in my garden. I love how they and the daffodils are the first to pop up and how beautifully nature just nails colour.

Ever wonder where your materials actually come from? This workshop starts with a farm tour at Kimber Valley Farms in the Beaver Valley, where you’ll meet the Icelandic sheep whose wool you’ll be weaving with that same day.
You’ll learn to warp your loom, weave your wall hanging, and go home with both — plus your own handcrafted loom and tools to keep weaving long after the day is done.
No experience needed. Just curiosity and a love of beautiful things.
Comment FARM below and I’ll send you the details.
The little girl in me loves these. I don’t think I’ll ever get over stickers. These cute little doodles bring so much joy just looking at them. I hope you love them 🩵.
The size and the material of this tote is just perfect and wears really well. It’s 100% natural cotton and has been printed by a local Barrie business.
Which doodle is your fave? Available in the shop now 🩷
She doesn’t appear much on here, but my mom is such an important part of my life and our business.
She’s the one who watches the kids any time I have to be away from home. She’s the one who hears about all the ups and downs in my life. She’s the translator between my Dad and I. She’s the one who feels like home when life gets tough.
I wouldn’t be the mother I am today without you Mom. Love you!
A beginner weaving workshop in Barrie. No experience needed.
There’s something that happens when you lift a finished piece off the loom and realize you made that. That’s what this workshop is about.
In three hours, you’ll learn to warp a loom, build texture, and finish a wall hanging you’re actually proud of. Everything comes home with you, the loom, the tools, the yarn, so you can keep weaving after the day is done.
What you’ll learn:
- How to warp your loom
- Tabby weave, rya knots, and soumak
- Working with wool roving and mixed textures
- Finishing, fringe trimming, and how to hang your piece at home
Everything is included, a handcrafted loom and tools, hand-dyed yarn, and wool roving.
We’re meeting at Blueberry Moon, 111 Dunlop St E in Barrie. It’s a good space for this kind of afternoon.
Sunday June 7th, 1–4:30pm
If you’ve been curious about fibre arts but haven’t known where to start, this is the one. It’s also a lovely thing to do with a friend. Spots are small by design —Comment “Make” to get all the details.
You may have caught glimpses of my studio over the years but here it is, all in one place.
As you probably have guessed, I love colour. And honestly, these white walls have to go.
I spend a lot of time at my desk and right now it is the least inspiring corner of the room, so that is changing too.
I really believe your space needs to feel good before your work can. And mine needs a revamp.
What colour should I go for?
It was love at first sight with this yarn.
Superfluff has this oversized, airy texture that adds so much softness and dimension to a weaving without needing much to make an impact.
I’ve been especially drawn to pieces lately that feel a little more textured, layered, and imperfect and this yarn does that so beautifully.
Dyed in small batches in the Maritimes of Canada in colours that work effortlessly together.
Superfluff preorder is now open.
Comment “Super” and I’ll send you the preorder link
Last weekend, @rovingtextiles joined us @reunioncoffee for our first Loom Weaving Workshop.
Using handmade wooden looms (made by her dad!) and the MOST beautiful yarns, we learned so many new terms and techniques - Tabby stitch! Rya knots! Loopy rya knots! Soumak stitch! Hem stitch! - in our introduction to the world of weaving.
We spent a lovely Sunday evening making a GORGEOUS weaving and falling in love with a new hobby. And really, what more could anyone ask for? Thank you, Michelle!
We will be planning another session soon, so stay tuned!
