@smallrich - Richard Smallwood-As a Jamaican, I think I am one of the few that would have witnessed Richard Smallwood’s ministry live. He was and still is my favourite gospel minister. I know every one of his songs ie after he formed “Vision” I also know over 50% of the songs from the “Smallwood Singers”’collection. The world has lost a gospel legend. To the “Vision” family, some of which I would have interacted with over the years, my deepest condolences, to his family, friends etc, “Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.” #maestros
CHRISTMAS DAY Link up - This christmas... hmmm. Should I blame Hurricane Melissa for mixed emotions? Probably/maybe🤔. Leading up to December trust me as siblings we never felt the Christmas spirit. From who saying they're going to fly out and go chill overseas, to who saying they won't be participating, nor exchanging gifts or even showing up, "YUP". In spite of, we found the will to put our feelings aside and keep the tradition with Jesus as the centre alive. The video says it all. If I never typed this you would'nt even have known😏. The collage maker wouldn't allow me to add more clips but I had to show the various reactions of the gifts I gave. At age 10 I stood in front of the congregation at church. We were all asked to testify. When it was my turn I was so nervous and timid that I could not utter a word. When I went to sit beside my mom afterwards I cried so hard the way how I felt embarrassed as I was the only one that did not even at least say “Jesus Loves me”. It bothered me for years and I decided that it would never happen again. My singing ministry actually started after that ordeal, this boosted my confidence over the years. The rest is history. Today I am not phased by addressing the largest of an audience, I have Preached, Hosted events, moderated numerous times in various church spaces. Be patient, practice and in time with the Lord’s guidance you will master it. #ceo
