Raw land doesn’t create value.

This is Serenity at Louisa & Bunker Hill — a six-unit affordable housing development under the Serenity platform.
Rounds Development Group helped our nonprofit partner secure $725,000 in state housing subsidy to bring this project forward.
These homes are designed for working families earning $60,000 per year and below.
But here’s what matters most:
Before subsidy.
Before vertical construction.
Before approvals.
It was just land.
Our role was to:
• Identify and control the parcels
• De-risk feasibility and entitlement
• Structure the capital stack
• Align the nonprofit sponsor
• Secure public funding
• Move the project toward closing
To date, Rounds Development Group has helped raise $5.7 million for development partners and stakeholders advancing affordable housing across Louisiana.
Affordable housing doesn’t get built because of good intentions.
It gets built when land, subsidy, and execution are aligned under one system.
We operate at that intersection.

This is what 20 years of neglect looks like.
And this is what responsibility looks like.
That first image is a legacy Katrina site in New Orleans East. It sat blighted for years after the original 42-unit complex was demolished. Empty land. No reinvestment. No housing.
We acquired it with a different plan.
Serenity at Curran will be a 12-unit supportive housing development serving individuals and families fleeing domestic violence. It’s part of a larger platform we’re building to remove blight and put land back into productive use.
The project is:
– ~90% funded
– Fully permitted
– Construction ready
We’re closing the final 10% and moving into vertical construction.
This isn’t about headlines. It’s about execution.
Blight doesn’t fix itself. Somebody has to build.
