For this month’s artist spotlight, we want to recognize one of the premier automotive illustrators based out of Maryland - Ethan Krieger of 8380 Laboratories!
Ethan got his start in the water-cooled Volkswagen scene, and then moved on to making designs for racetracks and shops, working on livery design, Hot Wheels packaging, apparel, posters, prints - you name it!
In his own words, he wants to capture, “…the essence of the automotive obsession…that feeling you get when you see a car and it’s just right…I strive to recreate that moment one project at a time.”
Ethan has accomplished exactly that when collaborating with us to illustrate some of the coolest AMT box art packaging, including the VW Scirocco, ’91 Ford Taurus, and 2004 Pontiac GTO - to name a few.
