As some of you may have seen I’ve been working on expanding my photography skills with a new (to me) gifted camera, and one of my favorite things to do is to hear folk talk about their work and uplift other artists. So thank you endlessly to @rosybonesco for being my first in this series! I took these photos in their studio space and interviewed them about their work/life etc. This could have been 20 pages since we talked about so much, but here is my first test run in a much larger project I’m working on.
I’ll be doing a google signup in the next couple weeks for folk local to Richmond who want to participate (and will explain more about the ideas / plans for it) but I’m really grateful to know so many folks doing what they love and caring about their work + the community 🖤

Recent wedding bouquet commission that just went off to its new home 💚 the silvery snake shed is from their pet snake that they wanted to incorporate 🥲 + 2 hand raised Luna Moths all snuggled inside a large antique frame (that did have glass but I took it off for the picture)
Commissions are my absolute favorite and are such a joy to my soul every time ✨

Spring has sprung in our neck of the woods and I feel human again. already seeing swallowtails and buckeyes dart through our yard has fully thawed my winter heart. I LOVE playing in the dirt and our garden is already filled with blooms. I’ve caught myself staring out into the woods at sunset and saying “I’m so lucky to be alive”. Being without greenery and florals for all those winter months does quite the psychic damage on a plant lover like me
both of these will be with me at the @rvarenfaire but I foraged a lot this year so expect to see more!
