Today marks three years since my dad pass on on from this world and today is a day of reflection for me, as it is every year.
I find myself thinking that I actually spend a lot of time ignoring what’s happened and continuing on with life not thinking about it, but around Christmas I remember hearing your voice for the first time since you left which was super surreal, and while I couldn’t make out any words being said, it was clear that it was your voice and it’s not happened since, but I’m grateful I did hear your voice and tone because i was struggling to remember what you sounded like, but what I do have is memories of you and I guess that’s the most important thing
