AFW Day 4 🖤 Sometimes the best pieces already exist, and you just get to bring them together in a new way. This whole look was thrifted, and honestly one of my favourite parts was putting it together. We spent the arvo laughing, trying on the most random outfits, and somehow found the perfect pieces to create this version of masculine power dressing mixed with soft femininity. The slim fit shirt with oversized cuffs and tie felt really structured and traditional, then the corset pulled everything back into the body and femme silhouette again, while I thought the tulle added this romantic but rebellious feel. It definitely had little hints of that messy 90’s Galliano styling I love. Dramatic femininity, tailoring, and things feeling a little undone instead of perfectly polished. And honestly, that’s what I’ve always loved about fashion and styling in the first place. It’s not about ‘cool’ it’s about self expression, storytelling, and creating something that feels completely your own while having fun with it. Still trying to process the fact that we just finished up at @afcaustralianfashionweek honestly. For the little girl who was told she was too loud, too much, too emotional, too unrealistic, and that her dreams were too big… I wish I could tell her about where we are now. Everything I’ve built, every risk I’ve taken, every hard season, and every moment I nearly doubted myself has somehow led me here. And while I’m still growing, still learning, and still figuring so much out… I’m really proud of how far I’ve come 🤍 So to the girls and women who have ever been made to feel like they should shrink themselves, play smaller, or dream more realistically… don’t. You are allowed to take up space. You are allowed to want more. And you are absolutely allowed to go after the life you dream about and be proud of everything you did to get it.

Day 3 @afcaustralianfashionweek Chrystal and I flew over as the official hair extension brand partners for @karlaspetic show Karla Špetić - Compose And the collection…. “Compose” felt powerful, feminine, grounded and effortless. The tailoring, the lace, the sheer layering, the ties, the textures, the fluidity of every look walking down the runway… it all felt so intentional and beautifully refined. Strong femininity without needing to scream for attention. The emotion, softness and quiet confidence woven through the entire collection was beautiful and I loved it. Backstage had such an incredible energy to it. The crew from the teams were amazing and we made so many great connections and had a lot of laughs. Everything moves a million miles an hour, final touches, hair, makeup, styling, fittings… so much creativity and passion all in one space. It was one of those moments where we both looked at each other and realised just how much we genuinely love what we do. Being here this week has just reminded us how much we genuinely love fashion, beauty and creativity. The energy, the artistry, the storytelling, the people and doing this work together … makes me so excited, proud snd a bit emotional too 🖤 #afw #australianfashionweek #karlaspetic

Last but not least… I want to thank us. For never giving up on each other. For pushing through the hard days, celebrating the wins together and always finding a way to keep moving forward no matter what gets thrown at us. Together we are a powerhouse. Unstoppable. We back each other 110% through and through and that kind of loyalty, support and belief in one another is rare. There’s something powerful about having someone beside you who understands your vision, protects your heart and reminds you who you are when life gets heavy. And a special thank you to our husbands for holding down the forts while we’ve made the trip to Sydney for Fashion Week. I’ve never really been a wireless bra person because usually my boobs end up looking like two exhausted stress balls fighting gravity by lunchtime… I NEED support 💀 But also comfort and the girls at @debrasaus absolutely nailed it with this one. This is the Marie Jo Soft Studio in True Red and honestly I’m obsessed. It’s soft, wireless, supportive, actually pretty AND I don’t feel like ripping it off the second I walk through the front door. One thing I’ve always loved about shopping at DeBra’s is how inclusive they are with sizing and fittings. They’ve now expanded their size range from 6–36 A–K cup to 6–36 A–LL cup which honestly means more women can actually find bras that fit and support their bodies properly 👏🏼 And seriously… bodies change. Hormones happen. Babies happen. Gravity happens 😂 We’ve all got the wobbles, lumps, bumps and bits we overthink. But our body is our soul suitcase. Then and now… being their Mum has been the biggest gift, craziest adventure and given me some of the most humbling experiences of my life haha Wouldn’t change a thing. Feel like I’ve been constantly tired for 17 years though. Motherhood is beautiful… but it can also be exhausting, overwhelming, messy and hard all at once. Some days you’ll cook healthy meals, go for the walk, drink the water and feel like you’ve got this motherhood thing somewhat together. Other days your kids are surviving off freezer nuggets, Bluey has basically become a co-parent and you’re running on cold coffee, leftover toast crusts and pure survival mode. Some days you feel patient, present and grateful for every second. Other days you’re overstimulated, touched out and hiding in the pantry eating chocolate because you just want ONE thing that doesn’t need you first 😂 And then comes the guilt. The guilt for missing your old life sometimes. The guilt for feeling touched out. The guilt for wondering how something can be the most beautiful thing in the world while also being the hardest thing you’ve ever done. But two things can exist at once. You can love your children more than life itself and still need a minute to yourself before you lose your ever loving mind 😂 That doesn’t make you a bad mum. It makes you human. And while motherhood isn’t perfect… there’s also so much beauty hidden inside the chaos. The sleepy cuddles. The random “I love you mum.” The little hands reaching for yours. The laughter, the fun, the silly moments that somehow make your heart feel so full it almost hurts. It’s messy and emotional and exhausting and beautiful all at once. So if today feels joyful, hard, emotional, overwhelming or all of the above… you’re not alone in that either 🤍 Happy Mother’s Day to you babes, the mums doing their best, loving hard and figuring it out as they go.
