lol here is me falling off at Galway! Kai really tried hard to be a good boy, I think he just didn’t really see the jump with it being dark colored and really shaded. I am very impressed that he didn’t run away even with my air vest going off!

SV Sayulita (Elphin Sunbird x Wildwych Valkyrie *Glenormiston Flurry Knox) is a 2019 14.2 hh full Connemara mare. She has evented up to novice but definitely has the talent and attitude to be an upper level prospect.
I cannot express how easy and fun this horse is to ride. She is extremely balanced at all 4 gaits and is so steady in the contact. She is a lovely dressage horse, she received the lowest dressage scores out of all horses in all divisions at her last two events, with one of those scores being an 18.9!
She is a nice combination of kick and push ride, somewhere right in the middle. She will take any distance to a jump and has a lot of try, easily making the “horse” strides. She rides really well off the seat and really tunes into her rider (see bridle-less videos). She has a great work ethic and really enjoys having a job. Has never offered to buck, nap, or rear. While she is a really good girl I would not recommend her for a total beginner as she is a sensitive, athletic pony!
Sayulita has been on some trail rides and really seemed to enjoy them, she ponies very nicely as well. She does well with other horses and has no issues living out with friends. She has no known soundness issues or maintenance but vet checks are always welcome and encouraged.
This is going to be a fabulous competition pony for an ambitious junior or amateur. Located in Liberty, UT but she is going to be at Galway this coming weekend, come see her! Priced in the low/mid 5 figures (starting with a 3). Will only sell to a 5 star home! 🦄

Nimble completed his first training level event and even ended the weekend in 2nd place! Always things to work on of course but he was very brave on a challenging xc course and careful in sj even with me not riding very well and him being a bit backed off. He is a very good little man!

My first xc jump was at golden spike. First novice, first prelim. This course is so valuable to the equestrian community of the western US. There are only a handful left in the surrounding states. I have so many fond memories of this space and really hope it can be preserved. As a member of @wasatch_pony_club I was heartbroken to see years of our hard work building and maintaining the course bulldozed over to build an OHV track…. Please @goldenspikeeventcenter help us preserve equestrian legacy.
