a v unusual one-off departure from my ridiculous archival posting methodology, just to say that after a frankly dreadful & lonely 18 months of sitting at this desk writing a seemingly endless PhD & a difficult book & 43 job/postdoc applications & worrying about Moss being so sick, I’m grateful to be able to put my silly little book on my silly little desk & say that I have a PhD & my first academic job & a book & @mossinpurgatory & my incredible friends & sunshine on Leith
