I’ve been reading @lauren_cochrane_ ‘s work for years. So to have her write about @theline_short is real pleasure. She could have hated the film, and I would still have enjoyed her writing. Thankfully, she found a lot of depth in it in this review for @somethingcurated
Lauren also made me aware that I ebayed my supreme Campbell’s soup T-shirt for an insanely low price compared to market value. Oh well.

One week to go to the premiere of @theline_short
Just been to Prince Charles Cinema to check the film is playing properly. It is, and it’s going to be a great stage to show off the craft of the crew and actors.
But as excited as I am for next Tuesday, but also thinking about all the screenings I went to in the past at the PCC. A triple bill of the Three Colours Trilogy. A beautiful Yi Yi restoration. Taxi Driver on an old 35mm print. Scarface with my brother @ashdensworld on his birthday, many years ago.
The list goes on… some of the best cinematic experiences in my life. So if you’re not a member, or you haven’t yet been…I hope next week’s screening is a chance for you to fall in love with this one of a kind place.
