After a successful completion of the AGILE's project (component 2.2c), the facilitators were trained to empower adolescent girls across vocational centres in Borno State.
In partnership with the Ministry of Education, items were also distributed to the facilitators for easy assessment in each vocational centre.

We are thrilled to announce the commencement of the AGILE's second chance education project which focuses on empowering women and adolescent girls across 60 vocational centers in Borno State.
The World Bank initiative, AGILE, in partnership with ROPAED Foundation organizes a 4 day facilitator training on Literacy, Numeracy, Live Skills, Reproductive Health and Livelihood in Borno State.
The training was aimed at equipping Safe Space Facilitators with necessary knowledge and skills required as they prepare to cascade it down to the beneficiaries across various vocational centers within the 27 local government of Borno State.

ROPAED Foundation, in partnership with the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) initiated a world Bank funded project conducted a 3 day training program on Literacy, Numeracy, Life Skills and GBV which focuses on empowering women and adolescent girls aged between 15-25 with second chance education.
20 master trainers were train on Literacy, Numeracy, Life Skills and GBV, where a certificate was issued to each of the master trainers and other participants, The project targets 100 non formal centers across 27 LGAs of Borno State.
Participants were so impress with knowledge and practical experience that they acquired during the 3 day training.
