Will I SEA you tomorrow for an arts and theatre workshop at the Central Library in The Hague? As part of the @haagsverhaal festival you can create your own magical underwater creature and explore how it moves and sounds in the Noordzee stage I made especially for this day! 💙 Maybe you can make a gelato jellyfish, a swirly water dragon or a turtle ship? Or something completely different? It’s for free! For kids from age 6+🪼The first round starts at 12:30 and the second round at 15:00.

The try-out for our children’s theatre play ‘De Boekenboom’ during @rotterdamartweek was amazing!! 💜 It was so incredible to see the reaction of kids, their laughters and their ideas! We worked so hard on this project with so much love and it’s magical to actually show it to the world. I’m hoping we will be able to play it many more times to different audiences around the Netherlands! A little birthday card for my boyfriend! 🌸 My gift for him was a weekend away in nature where we’ll be staying in a little house next to a windmill. We love to blast this song whenever we go on a road trip and I gave David Byrne’s book as a second smaller present, so it felt only right to include this favourite tune of ours in the illustration! 🎵

What a day filled with creativity, dancing and theatre at @haagsverhaal last month! I had the joy of leading a theatre and arts workshop at @bibliotheekdenhaag 🩵 The kids designed their own magical underwater creatures, then joined me on stage to explore how they’d move and what sounds they would make. And by the end, a few even performed all by themselves! 🐟
Watching the kids slowly come out of their shell and find the confidence to be silly in front of others was truly the best feeling. Thank you @centralebieb070 for inviting me! 🌊✨ Pictures 1 and 3 made by Arenda Oomen.
