Built as a distraction from final-year uni work by furniture designer/joiner Joss Redfern, Pad Thai HiFi came into being in 2010 where it went in to rattle windows across the city and become a recurring feature of the dance tent at Eden Festival.
After changing hands in 2016 so Joss could focus on work and family life, Pad Thai HiFi is now cared for and operated by a tight collective of music techs and producers/DJs with a strong passion for breakbeats and deep bass.
In the years since, Pad Thai have hosted their own string of accessible nights featuring local DJs, and provided the weight at countless events for other promoters; from dive bars, to festival stages and everything in-between.
With a crew that’s passionate about soundsystem design and sharing the feeling you get when the bass hits you like a ton of bricks, you can be sure a rave with Pad Thai HiFi will be hard to forget.
