🏠 Property does not have to be complicated. Start with research. Start small. Start with a partner if needed. Just start. Her pension was not an afterthought. She maximised her contributions early and let compound interest do the heavy lifting over time. @ff_women_wealth_creation shared some gems 💎 in the latest @fromrootstofrootspodcast

Over half way through our current Book Financial Joy @thehumblepenny Some really interesting discussions and revelations so far Here’s what I have been meditating on CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS AND MONEY NARRATIVES Childhood experiences, family attitudes, and cultural context all leave an imprint on how we earn, spend, save, and feel about wealth. The group discussed the immigrant parent experience in particular, and the distinction between not being able to afford something versus choosing not to spend, a subtle but significant difference in how money stories are formed. What are your thoughts?

May started on a low. And I am sharing that because I think we need to normalise saying it. After an incredible end of April, the dip arrived. And instead of pushing through, I chose to listen to it. This Mental Health Awareness Week — 5 things that brought me back: 1️⃣ TOUCH GRASS Walking reduces cortisol and releases endorphins. But more than the science, it reminded me I have a body, not just a to-do list. 2️⃣ REST WITHOUT GUILT My worth is not tied to my output. Resting is not falling behind. It is how I stay in the game. 3️⃣ CALL YOUR PEOPLE Connection is one of the most powerful protectors of mental health. I reached out. It helped. It always does. 4️⃣ I AM ENOUGH RIGHT NOW I do not need to arrive to be worthy. I am a work in progress and that is not a problem to solve. 5️⃣ FILL YOUR CUP WITH SOMETHING JUST FOR YOU For me it is colouring books, drawing and painting. 💛 Not for content. Not for anyone else. Just joy. The MHAW 2026 theme is Action. These were mine. What is yours? What is the one thing that genuinely brings you back when life feels heavy? Drop it below — someone reading this needs to see your answer. 👇 #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #MHAW2026 #TakeAction #MentalHealth #RootsToFroots SelfCare WomenAndWealth YouAreEnough FinancialWellness

Are you a HENRY? High Earner. Not Rich Yet. 👀 This is the checklist nobody gives you with the pay rise. Swipe through all 10 signs and count your ticks honestly. No judgment. Just clarity. The result slide has what to do next depending on your score. If you ticked 3+, follow me. We’re fixing this. 🚀 And drop your number in the comments, how many did you tick? Let’s see how many HENRYs are in the room.👇 (You’d be surprised how many people with great salaries are in this together.) #HENRY #HighEarner #UKPersonalFinance #FinancialWellness #RootsToFroots

£100,000. The number that sounds like ‘made it.’ Here’s what it actually looks like after HMRC, rent, bills, and the lifestyle that comes with the job. 👇 Take-home: £5,587/month After London rent: £3,326 After essentials: £2,451 After lifestyle and student loan: ~£1,100 left On a six-figure salary. This is the HENRY trap — High Earner, Not Rich Yet. And it catches more people than anyone talks about. Swipe through for the full breakdown — and slide 9 has the three moves to start breaking out. Save this. Share it with someone who needs to see the real numbers. 📌 Which slide hit different for you? Drop it below 👇
