This entire project has been almost a decade in the making from the first time I took a photo of the land to this moment when I decided to stay on the island instead of returning to Berlin! No matter how much longer it takes, I’ve imagined this land to what it is today with a lot of hard work, ALL CASH and no financial institutions - *not that I don’t wish for loans - they just don’t give them to creatives!*
I’m excited to see how much further I can get in another 5 years because a space like this is for a lifetime, for generations after me, the trees will feed many and the land will inspire more!
I am grateful to have witnessed all the growth and I embrace all the changes!
