Thunder Bay… thank you. ❤️
After 36 incredible hours, 36 Hours for Thunder Bay has officially come to an end. What this community has done over the past day and a half has truly been overwhelming in the best possible way.
To every single person who stopped by, shared a post, honked their horn, brought us coffee, donated $5 or $5,000, volunteered their time, or simply encouraged us along the way — thank you. You reminded us what Thunder Bay is all about: showing up for each other when it matters most.
We are still finalizing and counting all of the donations that came in, and while we came incredibly close, we are just shy of our $50,000 goal. But the work of these charities does not stop today. The need in our community is still very real, and every dollar continues to make a difference.
If you were meaning to donate but didn’t get the chance, the donation link is still open /en-CA/donation-form/36-hours-of-your-thunder-bay?utm_source=chatgpt.com and every contribution still helps support the four amazing charities involved in this campaign.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in this fundraiser and in our community. Thunder Bay, you should be proud of what you accomplished together. ❤️

Oasis waited out the last of the snow with an incredible roster of speakers who do our community proud. Hannah Viau's show and tell of TB Museum's odd artifacts was fascinating. Roots' Thomas gave us the buzz on bees, honey and beeswax wraps. Local watercolour artist Ken Crawford drew a crowd for his demo painting mist and fog. Danielle Slongo of the City's Growth Department shared their admirable sustainability and climate strategies. And Kelly Noonan inspired our spring cleaning with her incredible decluttering tips. Thanks to all for the important work that you do!
