Meet Rooted (@rootedcreative ), a global collective founded by Reva Bhatt (@hybridhues ), where South Asian culture, creativity, and community meet. In honor of AAPI Heritage Month, we partnered with Rooted to host a morning of yoga and meditation to reclaim rich Eastern wellness rituals that have penetrated Western consciousness. The workshop was led by Nike Well Collective trainers @linshanyang and @maya_thakrar , followed by Ayurvedic smoothies by Chef @iammadityaa_ in partnership with @drinkag1 .
Kick starting New York Fashion Week, Valliyan threw a Pop Up + Party co-hosted by @rootedcreative@hybridhues at the dopest @williamsburgbiannual , a three storied art gallery in Brooklyn, New York. @armanakhanistan and @_dj444_ remixed punjabi tunes, while guests hip hopped and shopped Valliyan’s unique handmade jewels.
