Even though we didn’t attend @made.bike as a brand, it was great to represent with @challengetires_northamerica .
The question asked has been: “Why? Where are you guys?” After a successful launch where we won a ton of races and proved our design, we had solid demand. Then, we were forced to re-examine our manufacturing process. Around the same time, we tested V2 to simplify the construction and reduce costs. We wanted to make the brand more accessible but our costs were rising. Raising our prices to you was unacceptable. Offering domestic manufacturing at an obtainable price point was one of our core values.
So here we are. On sabbatical. Future unknown. But, when Rooted does return, know that it will be a vehicle to design, create and listen to those in the community. How do we do that in a sustainable business environment? That’s to be determined, but I’m sure it will be amazing!

Who, what, why?
Why so quiet?
Honestly, because we are virtually sold out! Promoting a product that you want but can’t have doesn’t make a ton of sense. It generally just makes people frustrated.
What ya been up to?
Working alongside @alphabicyclegroovecx to make subtle tweaks and refinements that will make the next batch even better!
Who?
Spending each weekend hand in hand with some of the best mechanics @watchcwgo and @morefunplease and the entire @alphabicyclegroovecx race team, we have won 4 UCI Elite races, countless top 10’s, a handful of SS wins throughout the country, and currently lead the USCX series. Not bad for our little company.
We want more just like you do. More bikes, more medals, more metal!
