Our roof is failing, and leaks are actively damaging the space and our equipment. Major repairs are needed to keep Root Access open, safe, and operational.

Our vehicle light check is happening again on Saturday in the lot next to Root Access. We'll be out from 10-12.
This month, we're also collecting supplies to fill backpacks to give to folks as they're released from ICE custody. We need clothing, travel size toiletries, phone chargers, backpacks, snacks, etc. Please see slides 2 & 3 for details.

The second Saturday of the month is almost upon us, and that means we'll be out at Root Access from 10-12 checking and repairing your vehicle light bulbs.
We are always looking for volunteers - you don't even have to know how to change a light bulb. We always need folks who can translate Spanish, hold signs, run to the auto shop, and greet people. Stay for both hours or stop by for 30 minutes - whatever your availability is, we're happy to have you.
A box of bulbs is only between $10 and $15, so even a $5 donation helps us replace several bulbs.

Interested in 3D modeling, animation, or game assets, but not sure where to start?
Blender is a powerful, free tool used for everything from art and design to games and visual effects. This hands-on workshop will help you get past the initial learning curve and start creating your own 3D work right away.
We will cover the core fundamentals of navigating Blender, working with objects, and building simple models. After that, we will open things up into a workshop session - bring your ideas, questions, or projects, and get help taking the next step.
This class covers the same material as previous sessions, but returning attendees are welcome to join for practice and support.
Bring a laptop with Blender already installed so you can follow along.
