At R–F × Alcova Milano, @abacarchitects presents Alma Mater — Ritual Objects for Nervous System Regulation. Founded by Arianna Bavuso, the Lisbon-based studio operates at the intersection of architecture, well-being, and futurism. Each piece is conceived as an active agent — a vessel for ritual and embodied awareness. Rooted in neuro-architectural research, the collection explores how objects shape posture, breath, perception, and emotional regulation. Rather than static sculptures, these works act as spatial devices activated through use. Displayed works include TOTEM, LINE, and CROSS. At R–F × Alcova Milano, @furnobject presents The Portals Collection. Founded in 2022 by Anna and Sergii Baierzdorf, the Ukrainian studio explores design as a personal language. Each piece resists uniformity, favoring individuality and feeling over function alone. The collection brings together metal and glass in a state of transformation. These objects act as quiet thresholds - moments to pause, and escape. The Island Table anchors the space with an irregular, almost drifting form. The Gate Mirror bends perception through its concave frame. The Glimpse Floor Lamp captures light mid-emergence, held within breaks in its structure. AFS Design explores what it means to live a life well designed — one that reflects personal identity. Each piece is conceived as a modern heirloom: with craft in mind. This exhibit debuts the Bubble Chair, in lacquered maple color-way, with cowhide / moiré silk, the Tassel End Table, in lacquered maple; and the Egg Cup, a small porcelain object that brings the same attention to craft.
