For years, the surrender principle has held the industry back, limiting competition and favouring existing license holders. As a DJ, this is about spaces for culture, places to create and just having a bloody good time. Too few powerful businesses hold a monopoly and have the industry in a chokehold, limiting competition. My top 5 new UK Garage tracks for February 2026 that you NEED to add to your set list. Some big ones here especially number 1!! 😮💨😮💨
1. Driving Me Crazy – Lewis Taylor
This is the one that is going to be around in everyone’s set for a while. Soon as it drops you can feel the room lean in. Proper glide to it and those vocals are delicious. Number 1 for a reason. Almost certainly dropping this at @contrabassevents on 21st March.
2. Ring The Alarm – Soul Mass Transit System
Serious weight, unrelenting drum line. When that bass comes in it just does something to me. What else can we expect from Soul Mass Transit System at this point though? Always tight!
3. Midweek Cheek – Embassy of Swing
True to their name, the swing on this is naughty. I think it fits perfect mid-set when you want to lift the vibe a little bit without going full balls to the wall.
4. Polynessa – Rinwic
Bit different, bit funky, bit ethereal. Has that head-nod groove that any other DJs in the room will clock straight away. One that will get toes tapping and some people two stepping on the dance floor.
5. Bound 4 – Skeptic
OG UKG flip done properly, big tune this and will be using it profusely.
Honourable Mention:
Ghost (ODF Edit) – The Club
White label pressure on this on, missed the pressing and sold out before I could lock one down, but will have to find a way to source.
