Milly’s named one of the 25 best restaurants in Brooklyn by Vogue. Really cool!
Truly grateful to be included.
Chef Clark Monzon is driving the food forward with creativity, intention, and a point of view that’s defining what Milly’s is becoming.
Proud of what we’re building and the team behind it. This recognition is a reflection of the people who show up every day and bring this place to life.
Grateful to be included alongside so many places we admire.
Grateful to @voguemagazine ,Anna Grace Lee, and @geedotmichelle for the recognition.

Still taking this in.
Top 10, Best New U.S. East Cocktail Bar by @tales and @foodandwine .
Grateful for everyone who’s been part of this.
This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. The biggest learning curve of my life.
But we’re building something real.
Me and Anthony set out to dream big and create something meaningful for our neighborhood. To take a real shot at it.
We keep astronauts on the back bar. A reminder to shoot for the stars and trust the vision, even when you can’t see how it all comes together yet.
To more guests, more growth, better programming.
To more birthdays, celebrations, anniversaries, engagements.
Friends meeting friends. Guests bringing their parents. First dates.
More joy. More laughter.
And more Milly’s mirror selfies.
“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.” – Rumi
It’s a blessing to reach a point in life where you know exactly what you’re meant to do. For me, that’s hosting and taking care of people. There’s still so much to learn and so many challenges ahead, but damn, I love this. Milly’s isn’t open just yet, but that hasn’t stopped us from bringing people together, setting the vibe, and making sure everyone has a good time.
Appreciate everyone who’s been rocking with us. We’re almost there.
44. I could say a lot, but the truth is I’m still learning, still failing, still growing. Still evolving. Still graying too 😁
More than anything, I’m grateful. For the people around me, for the lessons, for the wins and the setbacks that continue to shape me.
I still don’t think any of us fully figure life out, but I understand more now what matters to me: my health, my peace, the people I love, and living with real intention.
Going into 45, that’s the goal. To become the best version of myself I can be. Healthier. More balanced. More present. More intentional in every part of my life.
Thankful to still be here and thankful for everyone walking this journey with me.
Thank you Lord!

Some days this place felt impossible.
Real fear!
Uncertainty about whether I was making the right calls, and knowing I didn’t always get it right.
Doubt that crept in late at night when the room was quiet and the weight felt heavy.
Moments that felt close to hopeless even while showing up the next day with a smile.
But there were also days that reminded me why I started
Unbelievably fun nights I never expected.
Laughter behind the bar
Conversations that mattered
Strangers turning into regulars
Connections that made the hard parts worth carrying.
This year stretched me and humbled me. It forced me to face myself honestly.
Where I needed more discipline.
Where I needed to grow.
Where I had to trust the process even when I couldn’t see the outcome.
I took the biggest risk of my life building this. The story isn’t finished, but I’m grateful for every lesson so far.
Heading into the new year knowing there’s more work to do
mind, body, and spirit.
By the end of 2026, I hope I can stand here again and say:
You stayed the course. You grew. You became a better man.
All glory to God
Even when I don’t always feel it He’s faithful 🤍
Friends and family, I’ve been in the weeds the last couple years building Milly’s, and I know I’ve missed more moments than I wanted to. I miss you. This weekend feels like the right time to reconnect, hang, and have some fun together. I’d love to see you at Milly’s. Let me know if you’re pulling up ♥️
