I just planned to drop by Lollapalooza as a fan.
Texted a friend from the Live Nation booking team – “Any chance you can get me in?”
His reply: “I’ll try, no promises.”
Next morning:
“An act dropped out… wanna play?”
Wasn’t sure at first, but I called my band right away.
30 minutes and a few wake-up calls later:
“We’re in.”
Main Stage. Lollapalooza.
We drove straight there —
no real soundcheck, no warm-up, no plan.
Just energy, love, and music.
