Pretty sure I can share these now.. 🤓
Seriously the FUNNEST campaign to be a part of.
The artistry behind Deb Limmer, the @doordashnz 'lawyer' was the best team effort ever. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you @eyesandearsnz for cultivating such an awesome set experience, @calvindoesntsing for being the best actory director I've ever had on an ad, @braetoia and your make up assist #babe who's handle I can't remember (please tag her) @briarcollard for the last minute weekend work and the kindest, most patient crew who had to witness the many line fumbles (and there were many) while keeping cool and profesh. Love my agents @johnson_laird for the continual and thankless admin and advocacy. Heart = full 🥰
WELLINGTON WORKSHOP ALERT!!
✨️🎉📢📣📽🎬🧲❤️🔥🙌🏻🧚♀️💃👩❤️👩💑
Description below, link in bio 🥰
Thanks so much to @equitynewzealand for making this possible. See you next Saturday 3rd August my Welly mates!
Keen to learn more about the role of an intimacy coordinator and director? Want to get an insight into what you can expect from the process of working with one? Eager to get your hands on some industry standard modesty garments and get some experience with the choreography process?
This workshop is designed for actors and other crew personnel who have maybe already had some experience, or are completely green to the inner workings of the intimacy process for stage and screen.
We'll discuss the IC role and what they do from casting to choreography, work some scenes and get an understanding of what tools they bring to the room to deepen connection between actors and the stories and relationships they're expected to depict.
Bring a notebook, some comfy clothes, and an open mind to learn more about how an IC can be your best friend when it comes to getting safety and freedom within boundaries and consent based practice.

GET TO IT. TAKE YOUR MUM AND DAD. TAKE YOUR MATES. GET TO IT.
Here's me snaffling some striking facials from my babe @morganaoreilly you're a stunning goddess of amazingness and I love you and your work ever so. Mum cried, and laughed, and was out past 5pm on a school night. What a win of a night.
Get to the @nzcomedyfestival and see @johannacosgrove in all her might as well. It'll be worth your damn while.

Nearly a year ago, heavily preggo, we were celebrating the wrap of a shoot designed and executed by this epic crew of soul crunching talent. @crackhead_2026 is gonna be THE ONE TO WATCH this Thursday 12th March on @threenewzealand
I couldn't be prouder of my dear friends @hollyshervey who created this demon from her demons and @emmettskilton - we've come a long way since Toi days babay! It was an honour to work with you on this powerhouse shoot and give some intimate moments some dynamite. 🥳🙈💣💥💯
Thanks Britta and Phillipa and team @warnerbrosnz
🥰🥰🥰
Last time we were at @riverleatheatre we were so hapu we were bursting. 8 months later the room was pregnant with dramatic pauses, sweet nothings and learning the art of safely doing sexy stuff for the stories we wanna tell, pushing to be better and more creative with how we tell them.
What a bloody good second bash at training up more intimacy advocates in the community theatre space. Thank you to the Waikato regional council and all the funding bodies that support this vital kaupapa. Onwards and upwards @riverleatheatre ! You're wonderful pioneers for your region and I can't wait to see what you do with the knowledge you now have. 🥰
Thanks to the Aucklanders who joined as well, @rend_anodyne_hollow and the infamous @merrincavelarts who has been flying the intimacy flag in our community theatres for yonks. You're both powerhouses. ✊🏻
Want an inside look at intimacy coordination for stage and screen? This practical workshop covers everything from choreography to connection, open to actors, directors and crew, whether you’re brand new or already working in the industry.

6 months of you, beautiful boy 🥰
You love walks with mum, being held by dad, your big brother @deano_dabeano , visits with Nana and Grandad, dancing to Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, The Beatles and Jackie Wilson.
You can barely hold yourself up and you're not interested in food yet. You're a weekly progress barometer that's both painfully slow and abruptly quick at the same time.
You've been the hardest thing to adjust to, the most testing thing to live with and a trial and error machine to push all our buttons and limits. We love you so dearly for all of these things, and the many more to come. Happy half year my Toby Bubble. 🫧 🫧🫧
Also introducing @romyhooper our fantastic intimacy coordinator for #genuineandstable 🫶🏽
Romy Hooper trained at Toi Whakaari and had been an active member of the stage and screen industry for the past 20 years as an actor, director, voice artist and intimacy coordinator. Training with Intimacy Professionals Association in the US, she is a member of Intimacy Coordinators Aotearoa. TV credits include Homebound 3.0, A Remarkable Place to Die, and Crackhead, and international feature film Heart Eyes. She has worked with ATC and delivers training to actors at Unitec, South Seas, through Equity NZ and recently Te and Kuya Collaborative.
What part of your work on Genuine and Stable are you most proud of, and why?
Building a love language and connection that shows growth over a 3 year period in the space of 5 minutes of on stage action.
What’s one moment in the process or your creative or technical choices that made you feel connected to the story or team?
“Having initial conversations with the actors before we got in the room about our ideas for building love language and connection, and finding we were all on the same page about how we’d like to approach this. Choreographed intimacy can be bizarrely technical, but recognizing we all were keen to be super technical from the start to enable freedom within those boundaries to flourish later in the rehearsal process was a satisfying and happy foundation to build from.”
In what way does the content of the show relate to you personally?
“Sujin’s feeling that she had worked so hard to prove her right to stay in the country is not dissimilar to the sense you get around building a sustainable creative career in this country. You often have to claw your way to any level of success, especially as a wāhine, and getting to a place where you no longer have to prove your right to be in your field or industry is tremendously gratifying. Her advocacy for herself in the interview scenes is a triumph to watch and resonates hugely with my own advocacy for myself, and other women who own and celebrate their entrepreneurial skills and creative spirits.”
