Hey friends and family, we would like to share and update you all on some news. Over the last few months our family has searched for answers for our oldest son Jerry. Some of you may or may not know his situation. In January Jerry started showing signs of inflammation in his right eye. After numerous appointments and attempting to figure out what was going on we still had no answers. After a few months a small mass started progressively growing in his eye. Thankfully we were able to be seen, and Jerry finally got some answers. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with retinoblastoma. A rare eye cancer commonly found in children. We were able to get him the proper care and that required the removal of his eye. He still has an amazing attitude considering everything that has been happening! He is such a strong and brave boy who still has a journey ahead of him. At this time our family is asking for a little bit of help with the medical and travel expenses, which includes a prosthetic eye once he’s healed! Most of all we just ask to just keep Jerry in your thoughts and prayers! For anyone who is willing to donate or share I’ll have the link in my bio! 🙏🏼
Little Warrior update: 6/22/24
This week Jerry completed his SECOND ROUND OF CHEMO!! 4 more rounds to go! He did amazing during his two day treatment and we are so proud of him. Sometimes we forget how strong he really is, but he continues to surprise us everyday. Thank you to everyone who continues to reach out and show Jerry love and support! Keep swiping for a good laugh 😂
Round 4 and 5 update!! Our little man is almost done!! With next month wrapping up his treatment, all we can be is grateful. We are so grateful and thankful for everyone who has reached out and checked in, came to visit and shared some smiles with us. It’s been a long five months but we’re so excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel get brighter. Jerry is so excited to get back into a normal routine and go back to school! (He’s also really excited to see his hair getting longer) Thank you again to everyone present during this journey! More positive updates to come!
