Today, we had the honor of screening Yo Yo for the first time, a film by my friend @mohamadrezamayghani in @filmfestlocarno . This deeply personal and powerful work weaves together the timeless sensibility of Persian poetry and the rich legacy of Iranian cinema. Yo Yo felt like a quiet reflection on memory, presence, and the invisible threads that connect us. It’s a subtle and thoughtful exploration of mental health and the loss of innocence and it’s the kind of film that stays with you, gently asking questions long after it ends.
