The 1518 in steel is officially sold 👏🏻
Thank you to Monaco Legends and Davide for the opportunity to work together on this.
Huge congratulations to our client. This is one of those watches people talk about for decades. Seeing a 1518 in steel is rare. Owning one is something else entirely!
This was a once in a lifetime experience and we are grateful to have been a part of it.
Thanks to @paulgtrinca for painting the picture of what it’s like to migrate to America with nothing but $4 and the promise of freedom.
This has been awesome to be a part of, and I’m thankful and honored for the opportunity for you to share.
Highly recommend checking it out to anybody who wants to see some incredible storytelling of what it’s like to work for that American Dream.
Special shout outs to @aviandco ,
@avi_hiaeve@mosesjewelry ,
@pristine_jewelers@exclusivetimepiecesny@motionintime_ny
for helping Paul tell the story so near and dear to my heart.
Let me know what you think in the comments, and shout anybody out who has an immigrant story worth celebrating below 🙏🏽

What does a watch mean to you?
To some, it’s to show success… to show their wealth…
But to me… it’s worth so much more

The Royal Oak Jumbo is already a legend, but stripping away the dial to show off the Calibre 7124 takes it to a completely different level. This pink gold 16204OR is easily one of the cleanest AP openworked designs 🔥

I bet you didn’t see this comparison coming 👀 The people who shape the watch industry aren’t always the ones manufacturing the product.
Sometimes they’re the reason people pay attention to it
In the early 1700s, jeweled watch movements sounded completely absurd to most people. A mathematician named Nicolas Fatio de Duillier figured out how to make watches run smoother and last longer using rubies inside the movement… but convincing people to trust it was the hard part.
So he turned to Isaac Newton. Not because Newton made watches. He didn’t. But because his name carried credibility.
Fast forward to the early days of Instagram watch content and you could argue WatchAnish played a similar role for an entirely new generation of collectors. Before watch media fully lived on social platforms, he was already treating it seriously. The photography, the storytelling, the access, the consistency… it made people pay attention differently.
Collectors followed him. Brands respected him. New consumers discovered watches through his page for the first time.
Trust moves culture faster than the product itself.
The RM 65-01 is pure sensory overload… and honestly that’s exactly why people love Richard Mille 🔥
RM took one of the hardest complications in watchmaking, the split-seconds chronograph and turned it into a full-blown racing machine for the wrist. Skeletonized movement. Rapid-winding mechanism. 5Hz high-frequency caliber beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour. This thing was built to perform, not just look expensive.
And somehow the red gold case still gives it presence without losing the aggressive feel 👏🏻

This is peak independent watchmaking 👌🏻 The Greubel Forsey Double Balancier Convexe is proof that technical mastery and wearable design can coexist.
This isn’t just about the titanium case; it’s about the two balance wheels inclined at 30 degrees, linked by a spherical differential to cancel out gravity’s effect on timing.
The “Convexe” profile isn’t just for looks. The curved case follows the natural shape of your wrist, making a 43.5mm architectural masterpiece feel surprisingly low-profile. From the hand-frosted bridges to the mirror-polished bevels, the finishing is in a league of its own.

What are your thoughts? 🤨 Do you think the Audemars Piguet collab with Swatch cheapens the brand?
