2022 was also the year that I spent working in Japan with the sound team for Sunny, Mariel Lohninger, Toshi Furutani, and @shihomiyaz . Sunny posed a unique challenge for sound, a number of the actors who spoke their lines in English could not understand their scene partners speaking in Japanese and vice versa. To solve this dilemma, translators sat off stage translating via @phonak earwigs directly to the actors to achieve a more seamless performance despite the language barrier. @a24 @appletv
