It all began when 14 year old Jed needed to raise money for a school trip....
He started out working in a real fruit ice cream shop/berry farm 🍦🍓 where he learnt the insider-scoop.
This led to his first venture (2013) - the pimped out horse float! 🐴 He parked this in a lot next to New Regent St. 𝙁𝙪𝙣 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩: The cart was self-sufficient as the earthquakes had wiped out the central city’s water, power supply and ice cream makers.
2016 was when the New Regent caf was born. This was HUGE. Prior to this, the gelato was sourced from Wellington. So this became the first place where the gelato was made fresh onsite.
2020 (yep, just before Covid) was when the Cashel St. cafe launched! They served gelato out of the windows during the lockdowns, and Christchurch powered through the tough times together.

The foundation was created after the band bought back their old 660 Castle St flat in Dunedin and turned it into a creative home for young Kiwi musicians - with rent covered, power covered, studio access, mentorship (from the band themselves), and space to properly chase the dream.
