So happy that some technical hitches have been solved and @roller_bebi ’s 10-min video that documents the 7-day, all woman-led build of her concrete backyard mini in Tenerife will be playing again as part of the Ground Work exhibition at @the.bath.house.hw . It’s on til 11 April 🛠️💕🛼
Super stoked that I’ll have issues of my new zine ROLLER SKATE DIYS out our exhibition launch on Thursday at @the.bath.house.hw in Hackney Wick.

This is such a labour of love! I travelled to roller skater-built ramps & bowls in Mexico @bajasurfnskate , Tenerife @agropunkisenlafinca & Finland @blizzskates to hear the stories about their creation — and sawed, drilled and shoveled with @binebie and other members of the @skaeti_crew in Berlin. Interviews, essays, photos and art inside!
I will figure out how to get copies other places soon but in the meantime pick one up and have a chat with us at Baths on Thur we have a little international crew assembled 🛼🛠️and lots to show you! The exhibition will be up for a month and zines should be available at the bar during this time.
Oh and we got a roller skate build session at @downsidediy on Friday 😮💨 lets goo!

Este año tuve el enorme privilegio de pasar un tiempo ahí No solo fui recordada una vez más como Occidente ignora completamente los derechos humanos que no le convienen, apoyando a diario a un ejército que maltrata a ciudadanos que intentan vivir su vida. Si no que también fui acogida por la gente más amable del mundo, de los que seguiré aprendiendo siempre sobre lo que vale la pasión y la fuerza interior. De cómo un pueblo que solo se puede defender con piedras y grupos de wasap, contra drones, metralletas y reconocimiento facial, sigue resistiendo por pura determinación y amor por su tierra y cultura.
Donar es realmente util, pero en este caso presión política lo es mucho más, habla de lo que te importa con la gente que te importa.
Sumud! Que viva ahora y siempre la autodeterminación del pueblo palestino!

This year, I had the enormous privilege of spending some time there. Not only was I reminded once again how the West completely ignores human rights that do not suit them, supporting an army that tortures citizens trying to live their lives on a daily basis. I was also welcomed by the kindest people in the world, from whom I will continue to learn, always about the value of passion and inner strength. About how a people who can only defend themselves with stones and WhatsApp groups, against drones, machine guns, and facial recognition, continue to resist out of pure determination and love for their land and culture.
Donating is really useful, but in this case political pressure is much more so. Talk about what matters to you with the people who matter to you.
Sumud! Long live the self-determination of the Palestinian people, now and forever!
