I feel like it's the correct time of the year to give a little reintroduction to not only who I am, for those new followers. But also a reconfirmation of what my purpose is in both my journey and hopefully yours 🙏 Before things really heat up for the 2026 season. My name is Ryan . The main photographer at Roll and Stop Photography. About how that seemed like an impossible dream with so many overwhelming rights and wrongs. This has been quietly taking shape since mid-2025 — built slowly, thoughtfully, alongside real weddings, real conversations, and real questions from people trying to find their footing in this industry. It’s for those just stepping into the wedding world. For content creators who feel ready to make the jump into photography. And for photographers who want to steady their workflow, confidence, and business foundations without losing the feeling in their work. I don’t have all the answers — and I’m not pretending to. What I do understand is how important emotional connection is, how presence changes a wedding day, and how powerful it can be to build a brand that feels intentional and honest rather than loud or copied. I’ve been piloting this quietly over the past few months, shaping it around real people and real sticking points. It now lives as a module-led, subscription-based community designed to grow with you, not rush you. For those who complete the journey, graduation naturally opens the door into the Roll & Stop Collective — a wider space for ongoing connection, collaboration, and support beyond the academy itself. Yesterday with @soph.v.g & Kyle 🤍 This couple saw me take in familiar places featuring @stgeorgeshall_liverpool , Castle street and of course the ever popular queens avenue. But there was something about this one that felt a little different. Opting for new angles and discovering new locations on my city streets that I've walked a thousand times 🙌 A little stop here and there for drinks, allowed me to talk with their family and friends giving me a greater understanding of this couples story. Something I never take for granted. I even discovered that Sophs dad actually made her floral arrangements including both the bouquet and button hole. I felt like I could have stayed with them all night, but we ended with private dining at @restaurantbargrill , such a beautiful building and bar that adds that perfect finishing touch to these smaller, but no less important days.
