Sankofa, an Akan word from Ghana, means âgo back and fetch it.â It symbolizes the importance of learning from the past to shape a brighter future. This EP reflects that philosophy, reminding us that progress begins with understanding where weâve been.
Drawing from real-life experiences, my own and those shared by millions. Sankofa weaves together stories of struggle, growth, and resilience. Each track is a soulful exploration of human emotion, blending heartfelt lyrics and inspiring melodies to create music that resonates deeply.
More than just an EP, Sankofa is a call to remember, reclaim, and rise. Itâs a reflection of my journey and a soundtrack for anyone seeking meaning in their past to build a better tomorrow. Let its rhythms inspire you to look back, learn, and move forward.
