We met in February 2011. A year into our relationship we were married and found a studio in The Bronx that allowed us to create work and begin our life together. Two Twenty is an in depth look at the period from 2012-2019 where we hosted countless creatives and friends at our home studio. The loft, as we affectionately called it, gave birth to Paper Monday and our ongoing studio practice. This collection highlights our early portraits and behind the scenes photographs from the open studios and portrait parties that we hosted throughout the years.
The current collection can be viewed via our online digital archive. The complete set will be published in our forthcoming physical library.
“Coming of Age” celebrates the enduring friendships and brotherhood forged during a transformative era of creative exploration that began in the early 2000s. Constant collaborations with Street Etiquette (Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs), Andre Wagner, Joekenneth Museau and many others served as the basis for self exploration and birthed a creative awakening in NYC. The comprehensive catalogue of images, spanning over a decade, will be expanded alongside a companion portrait series that pays tribute to the profound impact of creative expression and storytelling from this pivotal period.
Earlier this year, we relocated from New York to Rog’s birthplace, Jamaica. We had no idea what was to come, re-rooting our lives on the heels of a major natural disaster. Land We Love is an ode to the island and the lives it supports as well as a document of a family coming home to itself. The collection is a document of a family embracing a life lived closer to the earth with its bounty and tumult on full display. It follows a simple life of togetherness in all things big and small. This ongoing collection is an intimate account of the impact of repatriation on generations prior and to come. The resulting images will be housed as a collection in our forthcoming physical library. You can view the current collection digitally via our online archive.
“Off to the grocery store, Gigi’s house, the film spot, and Turtle Park.
On the road and in the air. We’ve lived a life on the go. As we plan what’s next, one thing is certain.
No matter where we land, we’ll always be at home here together.”
Father’s Keeper: A short video in honor of the man my dad left behind. // I came across old photos of my father while producing our recent short film, Plus One. In those photos I saw myself for the first time. I never really connected with my dad on a deeply personal level, but the man I saw in those photos spoke to me. I felt like he knew me and loved me, and without truly knowing him, I felt like I loved him too. I wonder about my dad’s life before moving to America. In many ways I feel called to represent the man he left behind. To be my father’s keeper.
