A week passed the Miss Universe Philippines rollercoaster and I am humbled by the success of our hard work, persistence and grit as shown by our empowered Filipinas giving their all on that culminating night in MOA arena earning us our three-peat victory and well-deserved placements. A cherry on top of the cake came when our lil Q&A duo @bdqanda with my best Mima @elmojklmno was featured on @megamagazine . Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine it to be happening. I am grateful for our families, friends & everyone who posted, shared and messaged us about our feat. So many emotions to process over the past months, from excitement to worry and to that nerve-wracking Coronation Night. Ultimately, I am grounded by the power of the grace of God, that kept us going and never left us through life's challenges. Excited to see what lies ahead. Marami pang laban. Five years later and over hundreds of women that we have helped and trained, we have fully accepted the fact that people will come and go, but only those with a thankful and kind heart stays and leave a mark with us for a very long time.

These photos were taken two days before the finals. Right after our training, I asked her: could you please indulge me and dance budots? And she did. Haha. Beyond her stunning face, undeniable stage presence and gift of sending her message across, it is her child like charm and humble demeanor that made me love her even more.
