Misschien heb je al iets voorbij zien komen. Wij zijn officieel partner van Craft District Enschede. En vandaag maken we dat zichtbaar met iets waar we samen aan hebben gewerkt.
De afgelopen weekenden draaide Craft District Enschede al op volle toeren. Maar nu is het ook echt officieel.
Samen met @atonebrewingco en @craftdistrictenschede lanceren we vandaag ons nieuwe bier: Epic IPA (5,4%). Een bier dat past bij deze plek. Uitgesproken, eigen en gemaakt om te delen.
Mooi om te zien hoe alles samenkomt. De locatie, de mensen en het bier.
En eerlijk is eerlijk, zo’n opening smaakt gewoon beter met iets goeds in je glas.

We’re open!
Last Sunday we opened the doors for the people who helped built this with us.
From tomorrow, Craft District Enschede (CDE) is open to everyone. Tuesday through Sunday.
We didn’t step into a finished place, we rebuilt it ourselves over the past months. What it is now reflects how we think a brewpub should feel. Contemporary, open, and not stuck in old habits.
To mark the opening we brewed a collab with Wentersch.
“Epic” is an American IPA at 5.4% and it’ll be pouring from tomorrow, fresh from tap. There’s a very limited run of cans coming later.
The people in the last photo are a few of the ones behind Atone and CDE. Everyone who put in the hours to get this place ready, from rebuilding to painting and cleaning, including the women behind Atone. Different roles, same effort.
Now that the pub is open, we’re pushing straight on to get the brewery fully operational. First beers from our own tanks are close.

We’ve been testing and pushing AI on spectacle, explosions, chases, scale, etc... But what happens when you ask it to feel uncomfortable?
This is a test using Seedance 2.0 in @dreamina_ai , focussing on performance and reasoning directions.
Built from a portrait generated in @midjourney and pushed into realism using @higgsfield.ai . Everything else was directed. Basically the same way you would direct a person on set.
What surprised me is not just the visual fidelity, but the behavior.
It doesn’t just render, it interprets. Subtle shifts. Timing. Micro-expressions. It understands intent.
We’re not just generating images anymore. We’re starting to direct performances. The real question is how long it takes before this becomes interactive. Rehearsing. Iterating. Refining in real time, on the fly.
Let me remind you, five years ago, this didn’t exist.

ROOTS just picked up Silver.
At the Untappd Community Awards 2025, our American IPA Roots earned Silver for Best American IPA in the Netherlands.
These awards are based on ratings from drinkers around the world, not a judging panel.
Considering Atone is still a young brewery, we’re proud to already see Roots land here.
Thanks to everyone who has checked it in, shared it and kept supporting independent craft beer.

Proud. That’s where this starts.
We’re proud we were able to surprise Anna-Marie with something brewed just for her. She’s the sister of Martin, our head brewer, which makes this deeply personal.
4 A.M. stands for 4 Anna-Marie. A Botanical Blond, a non pale ale brewed without hops. Some cancer patients are advised to avoid hop consumption during treatment, which can make sharing a beer impossible.
So we brewed one.
Built on barley malt and wheat, layered with lemongrass and citrus peel for freshness and subtle botanicals. No hops. Just balance and intention.
This may not be a permanent release. It’s a statement about care, subculture and brewing with meaning.

Atone has found a home.
In the Menistenkerk in Enschede, we’re building Craft District Enschede, the future home of Atone.
A monumental church that will soon become the heart of what we do:
a craft beer pub led by @robin_buma and our very own headbrewer @martinduve , featuring:
– 26 taps
– Atone as the house brewery, brewing on site
– permanent taps for Atone Brewing and our friends at @bierbrouwerijwentersch
– international guest breweries
– tap takeovers
– a ton of events
– and a serious focus on beer culture in Twente
Big shout out to all of you who made this happen! You know who you are. We’re super proud and stoked to get started!
