Switching it up today and doing some electrical work at @freshartists . Hanging lights using a reflected ceiling plan marked on the floor then transferring the mounting points 16’ up using a good ol’ plumb bob. Sometimes the old ways are still the best unless you can afford a new laser with vertical dot projection.
Trying to decide on a detail for the upcoming lamp. Made a few mock ups in pine to test. Do you like it with the wire pass through or without? I like the detail for aesthetic reasons but lately I have been working towards the @dieter_rams_design philosophy of “Less is More.” What’s the verdict?

You know that old woodworkers adage about never having enough clamps, well I had one left over. Guess there’s a first time for everything. Anyway. Using an old steam bending trick so I didn’t have to get the whole setup out. Just doing a one-off sample part for an upcoming #lightjng project for @laurelandhope
