Ángel Sosa is a poet and visual artist, born in March 1989 in Papantla, Veracruz, Mexico. In unusual circumstances and marked by his early encounters with landscape, movement, and keen observation, his work flows naturally between poetry, photography, video, painting, and dance. He has lived in the United States for the past eight years.
His work is characterized by meticulous attention to detail and a profound sensitivity to the natural world: animals, light, gestures, and change are fundamental elements in his art. Through concise imagery and emotional restraint, his poems explore themes such as love, deception, impermanence, and the subtle movements that define both inner and outer life.
