We had the best dang day. All I wanted going into it was to try the new kayak, try to have some fun, and all try our best — And Jonah ROCKED IT paddling by himself, while Margot kept us fed and hydrated on snack duty, and we even made some great new friends.

Happy birthday Go-Go — I definitely did that thing where I have almost no pictures of the party (this isn’t even one) 😢 Almost no pictures of the past couple months actually. But what I think we have, what I hope we have, are some lasting memories.
I love baking cakes and making Mac-n-cheese with you, and I love when you run over and hug my legs. I love hiking and exploring together and watching you draw and color. I love how freaking funny and creative and unbelievably caring and kind you are. I love that I’m still DaDa, sweet lil girl
