J. Alphonse Nicholson, Rodney Van Johnson, and Kid Cudi (Scott Mescudi) star in the upcoming short horror film ‘Spilled Milk! The film is written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Jared Leaf and will premiere at TIFF next month.
The film follows a father whose simple errand takes a dark turn when he encounters an enigmatic figure known as
“The Milk Man,” and things quickly go sour.
The cast also features Jerry O’Connell and Brandon Perea alongside Nicholson, Johnson, and Cudi.
‘Spilled Milk’ is executive produced by Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions as part of their NO DRAMA short-film development initiative, launched last fall and powered by the Universal Filmmakers Project and TIFF. The program supports writer-directors who are passionate about telling horror-centered stories. Jared Leaf, a Portland-based writer, director, and producer, is among the filmmakers selected for the inaugural initiative, which aims to enrich their creative process and further their filmmaking careers.
