What makes me feel truly glad that I chose this line of work is that, just like photography itself, camera accessories allow me to connect with people all over the world.
Rod-san is a very special person to me,he discovered our photographers’ bags from overseas back when hardly anyone in Japan even knew about them ♧
When he came to Japan for a Magnum workshop at the end of last year, he reached out to tell me that he had brought the bag with him.
“I used the black leather version of the bag throughout the two weeks and it worked wonderfully: it easily carried one and sometimes two Leica M bodies, and I even fit a Fuji GFX100RF as well.”
Of course, I’m already so happy just knowing that he enjoys using the bag, but it makes me really happy when he even takes photos with it.
And the fact that he crossed the ocean and came to Japan with our photographers’ bag makes it even more special!
